1. What We Collect

When you use Insightron, we collect:

  • Account information: Your email address and password for authentication, or your Google account profile (name, email) if using Google Sign-In.
  • Connected service data: Analytics, advertising, payment, and CRM data you authorize us to access through OAuth or API keys from your connected platforms (Google, Razorpay, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Usage data: Copilot questions, dashboard interactions, and feature usage for improving the product.
  • Visitor identification data: If you install our tracking script, we identify companies and individuals visiting your website using third-party identification services.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the Insightron intelligence platform and AI Copilot.
  • To generate daily intelligence reports, alerts, and strategy recommendations.
  • To improve our AI models and product experience.
  • To send transactional emails (magic links, alerts, weekly reports).

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data Storage & Security

  • All data is stored in encrypted databases with access controls.
  • OAuth tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM.
  • Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store plaintext passwords. Google Sign-In uses OAuth 2.0.
  • Each tenant's data is isolated by a unique tenant identifier. One customer cannot access another's data.

4. Data Retention

Data retention depends on your subscription plan. When you cancel, we retain your data for 30 days (grace period), after which it is permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion at any time.

5. Your Rights

  • Access: Download all your data from Settings → Data Export.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of all your data by contacting us.
  • Disconnect: Revoke any integration at any time from Settings → Integrations.
  • Portability: Export your data in CSV/JSON format.

6. Third-Party Services

Insightron connects to third-party services on your behalf (Google, Razorpay, HubSpot, etc.). We only access data you explicitly authorize through OAuth consent screens. We do not access data beyond the scopes you approve.
